Welcome to our handwoven tweed collection. We still weave our cloth in Donegal, Ireland and have eight handweavers working today. Our handwoven cloth is full of character, these flecks of colour are inspired by both the sea and land around Donegal.

DescriptionIn 1866 Magee was founded on handwoven tweed, today our tweed has come a long way from the rather coarse and scratchy tweed that would be been woven in the 1800’s for both farmer and land owner alike. In 2009 our garments are steeped in all the tradition with flecks of natural colour and simple design of either herringbone or salt and pepper, but with a contemporary twist, in our softer cloths, interesting linings and jacket features.A beautiful two button, side vent Donegal Tweed jacket, full of colour and heritage, the inside label has the signature of the hand-weaver who wove the cloth for your garment.
