The Donegal Tweed Look
The tweed look is an international fashion statement at the moment. Preppy herringbones and salt & peppers are everywhere. Magee Weaving are producing fabrics for a worldwide market and we build these into our collections for coats, jackets and accessories.
We still have 8 handweavers based in Donegal, working in their homes.
The colours are inspired by the ever-changing land and sea around Donegal. Mossy greens, gorse-bright yellows, pinky-red fushcias, purple heather, peaty browns and a blue-green sea.
